Cleaning up after all those Obama supporters...

Trash, flattened tents and the stench of urine were the legacy of Occupy Los Angeles on Wednesday after hundreds of protesters were arrested or chased out of their City Hall park encampment.

City crews erected chain link fence and concrete barricades around the park at dawn, six hours after 1,400 police officers swarmed the area.

Later in the morning, police officers in white hazardous materials suits prowled the park in search of personal belongings to store for retrieval by protesters.

“A lot of this stuff is contaminated with urine and feces and who knows what,” Cmdr. Andrew Smith said.

Feces and who knows what?
Couldn't find a police car to crap on?
Lovely.
Update:
Thirty tons of debris? From a tent city? That is more in line with a pig farm...

U.S. stocks finished modestly lower Friday, with all three benchmark indexes ending lower for the week as rising euro-zone bond yields kept traders on edge about Europe's debt crisis during a holiday-shortened trading session. The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA -0.23% fell 25.77 points, or 0.2%, to end at 11,231.78, down 4.8% for the week. The S&P 500 SPX -0.27% shed 3.12 points, or 0.3%, to end at 1,158.67, losing 4.7% for the week. And the Nasdaq Composite COMP -0.75% lost 18.57 points, or 0.8%, to close at 2,441.51, down 5.1% from a week ago. Both the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite indexes marked their seventh losing session in a row.

But Charles Hendry is facing accusations of hypocrisy after buying himself a 20-bedroom castle – with a potentially massive carbon footprint – as a second home.

Phony liars all of them. Next he will be joining the 99% crowd.
To his credit though he is mindful of waste.

The minister has claimed he is vigilant about not wasting energy at home, saying recently that he never leaves his television on standby, keeps the thermostat down and has replaced all the lightbulbs in his home with energy-saving ones.

I despise these people.

Almost exactly a year ago, members of Congress voted overwhelmingly to censure their colleague Rep. Charlie Rangel for bringing dishonor on the House. Then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi summoned the New York Democrat to the well and chastised him for his 11 ethics violations, which included improper fundraising.

“Last night marked a momentous evening in my campaign for re-election,” Rangel wrote in a letter to supporters on Thursday. “At a special event in Washington, Democratic leaders including Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer, James Clyburn, Sandy Levin, John Conyers, Emmanuel Cleaver, and Steve Israel stood by my side and pledged their unwavering support on my behalf. I am so humbled and grateful for their involvement.”

These people are a disgrace to mankind.

Beacon Power, a Massachusetts-based company that won praise from renewable power activists and loan guarantees from the federal government, has filed for bankruptcy, potentially leaving taxpayers on the hook for $43 million.

Taxpayers on the hook seems to be quite common under this regime.

57,000 Page Tax Return?

WTF?

General Electric, one of the largest corporations in America, filed a whopping 57,000-page federal tax return earlier this year but didn't pay taxes on $14 billion in profits. The return, which was filed electronically, would have been 19 feet high if printed out and stacked.
